    I've got Inception, the Batmans and Sherlock Holmes (both) on Blu Ray from the list you sent me. It'll be really, really hard, albeit not impossible to find DVD untouched of them because the world's shifting to BD, and I'll advice with that too, even if it means 1/3rd the movies.

    I'll gladly provide them, possibly at around 60-70PKR but the thing is I'm not free till Jun 14. Untill then, I can arrange the movies and stuff, if yuo want.

    I have half the movies on Blu Rays and boy they're well worth it. I saw the new Sherlock Holmes on BD last night, and I'll say if you can arrange cheap BD50 media, send it in and I'll burn it for you. That and MI:GP are the two movies just AMAZING on blu ray.

    Yes. You can. The Verbatim and Sony media does not change the quality of the movie. THat depends on the content filling the disc. The disc matters on two parts, 1- Your lens getting destroyed by them cheap Malaysian ones, and 2- The disc failing midway/after a few runs/during burning. aka reliability. So far, there has been zero failure rate on the Sony and Verbatim discs I've used. But then again, there are too many fakesi n the market.

    Blu Ray RIP is an mkv. I can provide any movie to you in a 2TB hdd and they'd be enough for the rest of the life. But, they aren't worth it. True DVD and true BD vs BD Rip made into an mkv and a DVD rip made into avi is not the same, people keep forgetting. Especially the soudn effects. I know this because I'm very picky about quality. Tried the cheap way but ended up buying a writer and 5 re-writable disks + loads of hard drives.

    Im afraid that lights about to go so I might not be able to get to chat with you on gmail just yet.
    You know, my issue with Blu-Ray movies is that the movies that date back to, say 1940s will NOT be supported on Blu-Rays as ahmadka the premium seller tells me.
    So thats another reason why I feel that DVD might just be the best way to go.
    Now exactly which dual-layered or single-layered discs should I get, thats what you gotta help me with.
    Does gttx also burn movies?

    Actually, a single layered disc will give you room for smaller movies, or woudl have to split a big movie into two. That's all. Baki no probs.

    I recommend Blu Rays. Was baffled with the quality. Seriously, if you have an HDTV and a Blu Ray player, get Re Writable BDs. GTTX is offering them at 800 PKR. That's almost what I imported mine on. The quality is unmatchable on DVDs. Well worth it. I saw Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol on DVD and Blu Ray, and well. Blu Ray was beyond brilliant.

    Verbatim in Pakistan is expensive and it's advisable that you get blu rays from gttx (BD50 for 650 or something which is a brilliant price.)

    Do you have a Blu Ray player? I'll suggest BD DLs or normal BDs and burning them yourself or giving them to me and I'll burn it but it takes a fucking long time (around 2-3 hours!).

    I've got Sony in stock around 20-30 blanks which I wont be needing since I shifted to BD which I got for 50 a piece but can offer out at 40 or maybe less if you buy all. The only drawback is they're single layered. Ask GTTX for a quote on Verbatim DVDs. It's the best you can get. Mitsubishi is Verbatim so don't let the names deceive you. I found Sony equally good, but that's just my opinion.

    I can do that. I can also burn BDs. The main cost is of the disks. If you can get that, I'll do it for a minimal cost. Send me a list and we'll work it out. How urgent do you need it? Import Verbatim DVD Rs and it's good to go.

    If you want Sony, I can provide that at a good cost.
