My brother and I were having an argument over which game is superior. I know, I know. "The two games are entirely different." But after I owned him in the God of War vs Dante's Inferno argument, he just had to bring in my other favourite game. (sm1)

i think dante inferno is better bcause the fighting is pretty much slow in yakuza that makes it boooooooooring

go for Yakuza 3 dont waste money on cheap god of war clone ( Dante's Inferno) i play yakuza 1,2,3 its story based game . once u start play it u just cant stop playing it

heheh, they both lose, Devil May Cry & Bayonetta destroy them both. It appears your brother isn't the only one that's easily impressable and materialistic.

Yakuza & Dante's Inferno is like comparing apples and oranges.

As is comparing GOW with DMC or Bayonetta imo. Completely different games that pretty much everyone loved except a select few who bicker over which is better

Yakuza 3 reminds me of Shenmeu from Sega Dreamcast... (I still have it too)... and I kinda like the slow paced action as its closer to reality...

While Dante's Inferno looks like a rip off of GOW...

my vote... Yakuza3

Devil May Cry has uninteresting characters and repetitive levels. Bayonetta has a bland protagonist and a simple story. Sure, the two are better (but different) than God of War 3 in terms of combat, but you can't deny the fact that graphics, sound (both music and the effects), story, and the overall presentation belong to God of War 3. Not to mention the scale...

P.S. Just to add a little something in favour of GoW... it has received a higher metascore than both DMC and Bayonetta. 8) (psst... sales too...)
