The idea of one of PSVR2's flagship titles appearing on PC is interesting to say the least. What better time to launch or at least announce it alongside the Gran Turismo movie, yet here we are 🤷‍♂️

Currently, and certainly upon Forza Motorsport's release, only one platform will offer the ability to play GT7 🤜

This might be the first real track based sim racer I put some time in, their improved career/campaign sounds nice and removes the main issue I never play games like GT, Driveclub of the previous FM games for more than an hour or two.

The idea of one of PSVR2's flagship titles
So,

A VR mode in a DRIVING game, that does not have ANY physicality for the arms and interactions with the steering wheel and transmission........is a "flagship title" for PSVR2?

Just another game design concept CerebralTiger ought to stop talking about at this point.

Even Lulz of the Mountain's efforts are more commendable than this pathetic excuse of a "VR" implementation. Embarassing.

You're clueless about literally everything :ROFLMAO:

Hahahaha do you even know what game design is, let alone concepts pertaining to it? :ROFLMAO:

Of course I understood your misguided notion of wanting motion controllers to simulate steering wheel controls. There's a reason Polyphony didn't even bother with that gimmick when the best possible competitive experience is attained through an actual steering wheel that does have physicality for the arms, interactions and transmission.

So, yeah, flagship PSVR2 title. Try again :ROFLMAO:

"Misguided notion" of requiring the kind of interactions that VR is supposed to make possible.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Then again, these tacked on modes in games that weren't designed for VR to begin with will always have limited and poor implementations. Thats the real reason 🤷‍♂️😂

Stay flagshippin yo... it's the best you have at this point so far I guess 🤷‍♂️😂

Now that your argument fell flat on its face, a "HAHAHAHAHA" is all you could come up with. Shame shame shame :ROFLMAO:

Now explain how a pair of motion controllers simulating a steering wheel in 3D space with tracking errors (no motion controller tracking is perfect) is anywhere near as good as a physical steering wheel peripheral for a competitive sim racer. Goooo on 🤜

LMAOOOO

Defends poor VR interactions with the need to have a dedicated driving wheel setup and considers that a "flagship" title for VR.

That's one approach. A stupid one. But an approach nonetheless 😂

I repeat 👆

Look at how you've cornered yourself in your own hilariously stupid argument. Itna zor se "ANY" physicality nahi kehna tha na :ROFLMAO:

How have you proven otherwise? The hands are stuck in the same place as non-VR mode even in VR mode, regardless of driving wheel setup.

Come back when the player has ANY control over the hand movements in VR, you know, the whole point of playing in VR to have physical interaction with in game objects instead of turning the game into GT7 VR: The Real Passenger Princess Simulator 🤷‍♂️😂

CerebralTiger's excuse of poor VR implementation:

3D space with tracking errors (no motion controller tracking is perfect)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH RIP PSVR2. Go back to the drawing board 😂

Now let us see what CerebralTiger's driving setup looks like which still ultimately fails to do what VR technology is supposed to do in the first place 😂

Stuck? lmao they had better be stuck there if wining a race is the goal. This ain't merry go sunshine Forza Horizon, where you can take a detour to enjoy the view. It's a sim racer where even the slightest mistake can ruin an endurance race. And, despite the Sense controllers being the best VR motion controllers out there in terms of tracking accuracy, they can't match a racing wheel.

Not to mention, I can seamlessly switch between TV and VR during lengthy endurance races (to avoid motion sickness) simply by wearing/removing the headset at any time and not having to switch between input devices. It's perfection 🤜

How hopelessly and desperately Necrokiller is trying to come off as a VR expert tho. Yikes! :ROFLMAO:

All these words just to say that VR mode is lacking physical interaction with game world because technology in PSVR2 just sucks for it. Yikes 😂😂😂

Flagship tho..yayyy 😃

I haven't tried GT 7 in VR yet! Heard lots of positive things about it though!

& it is a driving game necro, if they implement the ' VR limbs ' ingame, how the F* are you supposed to drive the car then ? =/

A controller or a wheel is the best option.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
