MCB Lite and mcb debit card are no longer working on majority of international websites .they blocked a lot of sites . Dumb

I have an Alfalah Gold Card. Love the rates. If you can pay back in time, then having Alfalah is worthwhile.

can you please elaborate about rates?
Also is there any annual fees?
Paying back in time is no issue as it will just be a replacement for debit card but with online shopping.

I have hbl credit card. They charge 10k annual for the platinum card and you need min 50,000 salary. However, the 10,000 annual charge is reversed if you spend 50,000 in 2 months after paying the annual charge

I'm making my mind for bank Alfalah card! already 2 people in my office have it!!

There is no annual fee for Gold Credit card. you can check more information regarding Alfalah cards from here.
Compare Credit Cards - Bank Alfalah

Dont use it as a replacement for Debit card though.

Thanks. I already checked the link, I guess I'll try Alfalah then, Askari has annual charges unless you spend some fix amount of money in 60 days.

Does UBL Wiz Internet Debit Card work with Google Play Store and In-App Purchases?

Hello community!
I'm playing an online game and I'd like to make some In-App purchases. So, just as the title says, I'm thinking of getting the UBL Wiz Internet Debit card for it but I'd like to ask you guys, does that card work with Google play store and its In-App purchases? Thanks in advance.

Someone in the shoutbox said it does not work directly and I'd have to buy a google play gift card first. Can u plz tell me how all this works? I thought it would just work directly.

Pata ni yar mene last year wiz card se google wallet pe access kia tha and it used to stay therer n I could just simply use in apps purchase option n everything was just in clicks ,

Uske bad mene remove kr diya tha wiz card bcz me bht zayda use kanry lag gya tha card funda fazool chezon me b

Baki pata ni ab ye he k ni , but its better if you cat get a card which is 3D secure , bcz kuch payments 3D secured hoti hien online jo wiz card support ni krta , but most of the platforms it works without any issues , Alibaba pe mene try ni kia but I am sure it'll work there too

Just used my UBL Wiz Internet card to make an in-app purchase and it worked without any problems. Thank you all for the info you provided.

also what do u mean by dont use as a replacement and where you said you love the rates, which rates?

I am thinking of getting one so I can make online payments without having to deposit in my Meezan bank account first n then pay at the due amount, my salary account is in Askari and that doesnt allows online payments on debit card.

I am not sure if I really need one and if there is any downside in getting one?

Referring again to the link, there are no hidden or annual charges, provided you clear all dues within the billing period.
They however charge a nominal amount of around PKR 2k to provide you with a credit card statement and to maintain your internet banking account (which I advise you must maintain with CC, to keep an eye on any unauthorized payments).

finally, CC and DC are different products, and since charges on late payments are usually quite high, therefore use Debit card for most payments, whereas use CC only when there is no other option. Example: I use CC only if I am travelling abroad or when I need to purchase something off the internet. for everything else, I use DC.

I am thinking about getting UBL CC, heard a lot about it from others.

I am using Alfalah CC for some timenow, works good, charges are also OK, but their online system is a bit of a Mess.
