After 6months of Usage Review of S8+:
its running Great , love few things hate few things
Not talking abt speed games etc bcoz i dont ply games in phone i have my PC and PS4 Pro for that.
Greats
- Fully Encripted Out Of The Box
- Free Samsung Entertainer (which helps me save alot of Money at Resturants)
- Samsung Knox Secure Folder (how easy it is to switch to another Secure Workspace)
- Back Camera is Great
- Love the Infinity Wallpapers
- Love the Always on Display
- Phone Looks futuristic AF without using any backcovers.
Hates
-Not Fan of Curve Screen
-Front Camera Should Have been alil better
-Fingerprint placement (was annoying in start but now no problem)

Youtube app has been updated and now supports hdr for Galaxy S8/S8+ and Note 8 series.
Read that it is currently available on these phones from Google and will expand to other phones like LG G6 and Xperia XZ Premium

Video on my phone skips frames when I switch the quality to 1440p HDR. It seems ok on 1080p HDR. Any guess what could be the issue? Internet speed is no issue though.Youtube app has been updated and now supports hdr for Galaxy S8/S8+ and Note 8 series.

i have a glass protector but now there's dust from top left edge which is so annoying that to clean it i had to pick more than half of it so its loose now
i need suggestion for a protector which wont get dust in and with which i can use fusion transparent back case too
Still working fine. Using it with the Crash Guard.

Snapdragon is more power hungry
It consumes more battery

L LegacyGamerGuy:I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

L LegacyGamerGuy:Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.

L LegacyGamerGuy:As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

L LegacyGamerGuy:About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
