Both of my 18s are working perfectly on Windows 10 no issues at all i am aware about mr.fox's thread and its really bad luck for him but its effecting a really small group of 18 owners.

^ exactly - plus, in my case, I didn't like the windows 8 since I have it from day one on my office laptop. It'll be a few years before I turn to upgrade from the 7.
well i have been using windows 10 since it came out almost two months now if the display was to go bad it should have by now but its still going strong of no worries.

Indeed - I suffered such a loss with my very first Alienware (many years ago) ever since that happened I resort to have an additional warranty coverage i.e. till 2017 this time.

Nice, I have my M17x R3 120Hz up for sale. I haven't used it much. Still is in its bag in pristine condition with Nvidia glasses. I have just been too busy with the office work to post an ad.

Awsome but in leaving for malaysia this nov and i have lined up some retailers there also alienware is officially present there will get it myself then. But alienware 17 r2 has problems. 1st power brick isssue which they claim they have fixed with bios update what they really did is to limit the power to other components 2nd ut does not dissipate heat efficiently after few hours of olaying cpu throtles. So i scrathed it from my list although i like it ...uts build quality is unmatched and customizing you get is awsomeeeee. But not gona waist money so far msi gt72 dominator is on top of my list then asus g751. Auros laptops are better but they cost a lot.

If you really are considering another brand than the Alienware then look no further than the Batman aka the clevo's P770ZM (17 inch) and P750ZM (15inch)
Get it in desktop processor configuration i.e. I7 4790K and 980M and you'll literally fly. Don't forget to grab the new version with G-sync enabled screen and don't go for an overkill with 4K display. For laptops, full HD serves the best purpose.
Xotic PC is offering the best rates - I would have gotten that beast however I simply love my 18 SLI a little too much.
I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform. Then they cry that console gaming is dying.
