Not compulsory.

LMAT is based on GMAT so they're basically the same tests. However I don't know how they mark you on LMAT. If it's fixed, or scaled or what.

I did GMAT last year without any prep at all and it was a disaster. So i'll stick to LMAT :p Plus GMAT costs like Rs. 25,000 too.

My friend got into LUMS SSE but after one year.(in may/june) while he was still in LUMS he appeared for A Level biology and applied in medicine. Then in the middle of the third semester he left LUMS for the medical college he got into. After spending a month doing MBBS he has now again come back to LUMS and is now doing EE!!

Kya scene hua aaj guys? The test went terrible for me. Left out at least 30 questions in Physics, Chem and Advanced Maths.

Well mine went average. Left 7 in physics. 4 in basic maths. 5 in advanced maths. 3 in chemistry. Jo kiye un main sy bhi atleast 3-6 can be wrong.

How was the response overall? Did everyone find it hard?

English and Chemistry were very easy, Physics went average and I kinda screwed up in mathematics. :ninja:

But the essay topic was bit complicated :p
Same here. Maths was never my strong subject.

BTW what feedback are you getting generally about SSE? I've talked with like 8-10 people and all found it hard.

yaar mery matric mein 91% fsc mein 85% and SSE Test mein 30 questions leave keeay,jo keeay un mein se 6-8 wrong? koi chance hai bs phy maths chem CS EE? kaheen pe?

If any of you got call from LUMS, kindly tell your OL grades and your performance in test because getting a call means 95% chances of admission.

I did get an email from the admissions office two weeks ago. They had some questions about my intermediate certificate.

EDIT: I secured 85.2% in intermediate. Test went average.

I got a call but it was just regarding verifying the address...Nothing much and honestly my test was not upto the mark..ALLAH kre k hojae,ALLAH maalik hai bhaii

ALLAH aapki zabaan mubaarik kre aameeeen...but I dont think so...they just verified my address,my postal address was written on behalf of my fathers's id card address,the address we have long since migrated ahead..:so i just gave them my present one..and actually i applied for FA,85% in first year,and 91% in 10th...test was idk honestly...i gave it as an experience...ALLAH malik hai yaar ALLAH khair krega...pta ni kia bnta hai
