I got to know about lucid dreaming from this thread and realized I have this every now and then. Mine is dream-initiated though. While dreaming I gain consciousness that I'm in a dream. However it doesn't last long and I end up waking after a while.
How did it go?
Is it even allowed in Islam? Cuz what Megaman said previously was that you could dream of anything and its all your own choice so I suppose that is like hallucination(If I am not wrong) which is prohibited.

Allowed in Islam? I don't think religion has anything to do with this. Besides, mine is dream-initiated which means I'm not the one who initiates it. It happens on its own. It's like having consciousness that you're dreaming and you can gain control over your dream for some time.
I suppose its not forbidden because it has nothing to do with intoxicants, because the hallucination caused by intoxicants is haram. So, its nothing bad I suppose.

Arent they the best? Everything feels so REAL, like you are actually performing it, it also adds depth and perception to a normal dream.

Lucid dreaming has nothing to do with hallucination. Also, I forgot to include one important detail in the steps I mentioned. When you're trying to attempt it and succeed in making your body 'sleep', you will feel weight on your chest. That means you succeeded and now you can try to build up your world.
And this is the time to NOT open your eyes...or else. I don't what would happen as this is what sleep paralysis is and this is when your brain makes up those 'monsters' and stuff. People know this. When this was first uploaded on 9GAG, there were a ton of posts of people regretting when they opened their eyes during sleep paralysis. Don't worry, they're harmless though. But I'm not taking the chance.
There are elaborate guides on this and there is a way of completely remove these monsters during paralysis (involves waking up after some hours and THEN doing the lucid dreaming thing). Also, you can make lucid dreams happen through specific MP3s which are designed to help the brain to lucid dream. Really interesting topic.

Its been 2 weeks i visited village and i'm here in city because of exams.
today my cousin and his father (they live next to my house) told me that last night they heard someone walking into their room and sitting on chair. they were scared s##tless couldn't even turn on the light switch right next to their beds ¬_¬
before this, my mother told me in the morning that last night someone was standing in the doorway and we should lock the room from inside before sleeping. then i said its summer mom, i'm gonna suffocate with all doors locked.
and i was seeping deep, was tired last night because of yesterday's exam and studying whole night before exam.
