Pakistan team wins the hockey match against South Africa in London Olympics 2012. The match was very interesting. Pakistan scored 5 goals while South Africa score 4 goals. Last 2 goals of Pakistan were scored in last 7 minutes of Match.

Awesome play by the team, though some filthy mistakes but yet the waseem ahmed shoot and sohail abbas penalty was classic! Best of luck to green team for the match with australia hope they work out pretty well with their defence as we don't have an extra keeper !

actually it all depends on the aus vs GB match . if australia wins with a big margin pakistan has a good chance but i doubt pak will take in point from their last game . australians are just too good

It all depends on if we win too. We will have to win the next match and if Aus beats UK, then we have a fair chance.

GB came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 against Oz last night. This could turn out to be a blessing in disguise
It all boils down to tomorrow's match. We beat Australia, we're through to the Semis along with GB (or Spain). Every other scenario will result in our elimination.

winning against australia isnt going to be easy. the defence has to tighten up the australians do like to attack so counter attack opportunities will be presented to pakistan. Pak has a seriously retarded GK that guy is responsible for most of the goals. that 4th goal he gifted to south africa was utterly embarrasI hope he keeps his brain in check

Our previous goalie, Salman Akbar was a lot better. I was watching the goals this guy 'awarded' to UK and they were absolutely ridiculous. In one of the goals, he came 4-6 feet out from the goal even when there were 2-5 defenders there. *facepalm*

[MENTION=15330]CB Bhallu TC[/MENTION] well taking into consideration that its the Pakistani Hockey team we are lucky we even have a team so don't get yourself down by the goalkeeper and look at the positive side cause if the goal keeper is so bad and we have won enough matches to probably qualify for semis then the other team must be more shitty than us :D

Lol, what do you mean? We even have a team???? It's our national sport, we won four Olympic golds and I think 3 or more worldcups and you are too much under estimating them. We are not a shitty team, our defence is not good. Out attack is good. Don't underestimate them, they were the ones who won the Asia Games Hockey Gold.

We've gone to the Olympics with only with one goalkeeper! Hats off to the management. Now we're stuck with Shah (y)

Salman Akbar was an extremely good goal keeper. Used to be very difficult to beat during the last decade although his form as since faltered. Still, he was the best man for the job and not taking him is pathetic on part of the management.

Yup. But our defenders are nothing to write home about. Sohail Abbas and Imran are in the team solely for their short-corner exploits. Abbas is more of a dead-weight now with a poor PC conversion rate. Sad considering he had a 100% short corner conversion rate some years back.

We have no choice other thn him we lack the players we have to fully utilize them i agre with u regardin this but wat shall our management do we lack the player of class and quality
