Just pick the motherboard, RAM and Power Supply from budget segment, and everything else from mainstream.

Because the HDD section remain unchanged from previous guide, might as well consider this instead of Barracuda.

And what about other accessories like chasis and LCD etc etc

I think u should increase ur budget slightly if u want to buy a pc which is capable of futurre upgrade

there are many decent casing available in 3-5k u can check on galaxy and czone site as well as most favourite iamextreme of ur city
If u have no limitation on lcd budget than go for some 24inch like dell st2420l
Small accessories like keyboard mouse will cost around 1.5-2k
and The most expensive thing as compared to its actual value is HDD u can buy used from pg members
SO TOtal INCREASE WOULD BE AROUND 10k excluding LCD

I WOULD SUGGEST BUY SOME USED PC FROM PG MARKET PLACE . MANY GOOD OFFERS ARE ALWAYS THERE

the intel g620 is a very capable sandybridge gaming cpu and will give you playable framerates in many current games...for more info read the review below:

(you can get the above a little cheaper if you bargain a bit as usual....also buy any dany or other chinese casing and save more money,,,i just suggested th ms 1 cause its upgradeable easily and looks good)

What resolution you plan to play games on?
If its 1680x1050, then you should get a 6750 or even 6670.
That should leave you with some spare cash for i3

Try to get some lil used components from the PG market,they would save u some money and at the same time provide better performance.

dude if u are a gamer then go for a i3 and dont go under ati 6790 its the best value for money. and believe i know what u meant about tight budget i have been through that lol
