Battefield 3 Support Thread - LOC Files in 1st Post (Post your issues here)

Err decided to play BF3 after a long time and apparently it decided to download a 48.1mb file but it just won't start downloading. So then I decided to close the origin client and start it up again and now it wants to download a 13.2gb file :S And everytime I resume it, it pauses itself and stays at 0%. Any help?

this is shit...whenever im playing in a server my gun disappears along with allies and enemies so i cant see shit...enemy vehicles disappear but friendlies still remain...high settings hon ya lowest with 640*480 res the problem is still there...anyone else here facing this prob?i checked battlelog forums and a shitload of ppl have this problem so it cant be cuz of my rig cuz some ppl with even i7 and high end gpus got this problem and they are saying ke it happened with the latest patch
Got my BF3 Disc yesterday. Origin wanted to download a 4 GB update which I did. To my surprise after completing all the update it again goes about downloading the same update :S any idea what's the problem ? and is there a possibility to download the update externally meaning downloading it from somewhere other than Origin and then manually adding the update ?
i downloaded 92.30% BF3 last night and right now today an update for origin was available. after that my download is now back to 62%!! what can i do man, already waited so long... the BF3 folder size is 13.8 GB while origin shows it 9.8 GB
best that you let it download whatever the hell it wants to download,update coz if its screwed then you have to wait more so patience my friend
i hope so everything works fine if i let it download without turning my pc off. but i've heard that ppl with these problems also have a problem that when download finishes, it starts again. i hope that isn't the case with me. i haven't downloaded the game once for 100%. i think my download will include all the updates and that is why its size is also 14.7 GBbest that you let it download whatever the hell it wants to download,update coz if its screwed then you have to wait more so patience my friend
yes it will include all updates, and there is a bug in Origin which cause data loss in case of power failure. So try UPS or pause the download before load shedding.
yup be sure to do that otherwise you will face data loss problem + game is downloading all previous updates thats why its taking a bit of more time
oh if pausing works then no coz i have UPS. only properly need to shut down my pc. but i'll rather left it running.

I face this problem sometimes, but like once in a week.
Update your graphics card driver.
And also try to play on low settings for once to check your system stability for BF3. If it still crashes then report!

Well GPU drivers are already up to date, will try lowering the resolution and will post back here. Thanks!
anyone know where i can get a legit dvd version i don't wanna download the whole game because of my limited download
you will still have to download updates as DVD will contain game and the three patches which arrived later on will have to be downloaded so better not waste time with LEGIT DVD
