Not the right section for sure but big news bro . I remember this guy , he was the one who played with vickey in the final at the GMC in pindi right. The dude was what 16 or something? Anyways big news and i really hope he does well for himself and pakistan.

even update was not able to help me to come out of sf4 boredom ... played few games with iron and i always enjoyed most playing against him but even then seriously got bored after 4 5 matches

that update makes me want to sell my ssf4 ryu's hard shoryuken can't be fcdc anymore, ken does 200 off 1 ex shoryuken? yun is like an entirely new character... capcom wtf? they're probably going to release 2012 summer edition soon just to say we care about our fans seriously just stop capcom games like mk, tekken and kof are just better options... really disappointed

So what if Ryu's HP Shoryuken can't be FADC'd anymore? You should've been using the MP Shoryuken (more invincibility) in most situations anyway. If you know what you're doing with this game, that "nerf" doesn't change ANYTHING. You also seem to ignore that Ryu received a good, important buff to one of his best tools: Cr.MK. Yun hasn't been changed THAT much... He's not a new character by any means, he's just a little weaker. And you're crying over Ken getting +20 damage on his EX Shoryuken, when his Cr.HK got nerfed giving him no combos into an untechable knockdown?

im just tired of all these changes and was gonna post about it thats all but thanks for the info bro obviously you know more about the game than me and maybe i'm just tired of ssf4

Ummm not much to say here . But the update did not do it for me when i started playing in training mode. Need to play some matches online to get ssf4 back in the system but it's seriously dead in my books. I think when it comes to fighting games , every game has its own demographics. We cant and should not expect ssf4 to be like tekken, kof ,mvc etc etc. If you precieve a game being cheap , that is actually not being fair to the game itself. Anyways that is my own opinion, i have not tried all character to really comment on their nerfs or buffs.

for me its not about cheapness of the game (no doubt it is lols) but for me sf4 lost its charm no doubt i really enjoyed game while playing with all of u guys but for a year or two but for now its quite dead for now not enjoying at all may be it will change after few days

Well that is why we had those meetup to keep up with the fighting game scene. SSF4 is still big in tournaments , but its the lack of play from the gang that has ended up thinking its dead. Anyways will try to play it online this weekend and see how it goes.

Okh so i tried Cody , there is a significant change in his walk speeds. His up Hp on wakeup does FADCS but landing that into Ultra1 is quite tight. Can be easly done if the opponent is in the corner but in mid screen range its damn difficult or maybe that i have not played the game for so long i found it hard to execute. His Dash speeds seemed a lil faster this time around thus making it easier for cody to slide down a cross up or getting into his opponent.

Tried Dudley and Thank god its easy to connect his Ducking Straight after a EX Machine gun. It was quite tight before doing a ducking straight into Lp MCB after ex MCB . Most importantly his Cr Mk is a lil faster which makes it good for poking or using it in back dash op selects but that does not work on characters with a smaller hit box .

Yun seems totally f****D up. His Dive kicks are not as steep as they used to be , most important changes which will make yun a really complicated character to play with is His TC 4 (mp>hp>back HP) which many yuns abused can be punished after the second HP if blocked i believe its something like -4 on block now ( just a guess not the actual frame data). The second Hp used to push the opponent a lil back and had awesome recovery but now it seems like a dead move on block. Secondly no throw invincibility on command throws which makes it difficult for someone to do their mix up game. ( Time for a change Asad aka The chronic)

So what killed SF for you? (Not just Amir bhai but every one)
Is it a case of SF killing SF through frequent patches, or other games killing SF by being better/more fun?

For me its MvC3. I mean you guys know how much I played SUPER and how little I played AE. MvC has always been my favorite fighting series and I didn't expect them to make a third one. It came out of the blue and naturally I made it my main game. I would still play SF from time to time if it was still SUPER, but then SUPER was also getting a bit old.

I don't think SF is killed or something of the sort but the fact we've been playing the same game for a long time now. Everyone needs a change and I guess everyone is looking for now. The fact of the matter is that you still play SF whenever you go on meetups so i'll say it still has its charm.



Anyway, I VesperArcade posted a FT5 match between Ryan Hart(Sagat) vs Infiltration(Gouken). Gouken is finally showing some promise at tournament level, have a look.
