I have a psp slim 2001 and its current software is 5.50 GEN-D (full). I usually just download ISOz and play those from the memory card. That works fine for me, as I dont/cant play as much as I want because I have a toddler to take care of. I try to keep upto date with my favorite games such as MGS, Syphon filter, God of War etc. What I want to know is if I need to update the firware to the Prometheus as indicated by this link http://pspslimhacks.com/custom-firmware-5-50-prometheus-for-psp-2000-and-psp-1000-released/ ? Would it still run downloaded ISOz? I am currently playing MGS peacewalker, it runs fine on my current software. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated
