Xperia S Software

Since this happens to be the Software den then i suppose this is the right place for me to be asking this question.

I have happened to get my hands on a Xperia S, but the problem is that it is a carrier device (T-Mobile UK).
Well thats not actually the problem, the problem is using the phone.
I dont know whether this phone can be unlocked or not for local use.

Can someone tell me whether the unlock for this phone is now available ?
Last time i checked it was not.
Apparently the shop keepers in Pindi and Islamabad told me for days on end that they have it but there's something wrong with their system or where ever the heck they get the software to unlock the phone from is not working.

So that has led me to believe that the unlock for this phone is not available.
If someone knows that it is available then please guide me to that shop and i will gladly take this phone there.

It belongs in the Cell Phones and Gadgets section. If you find a trusted online site which gives unlock codes, you should use that. Select your Device and Carrier and they'll ask you for a credit card number and an email address where they'll send the unlock code. [MENTION=8060]abobobilly[/MENTION] Should move this thread.
Also mention, is it T-Mobile UK or T-Mobile USA.
