WoW expansion updated for Asia.
According to Slashdot.org, Blizzard's highly anticipated WoW expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, is undergoing closed alpha testing. World of Warcraft has already amassed over 10 million users, and the 2nd expansion only hopes to up the ante by introducing players to the northern lands of Northrend while raising the level cap to 80.
In addition, Blizzard announced on its official WoW website today that localization, operation, and support for the expansion in China, Macau, Hong Kong, and Taiwan have been updated. This may not come as a surprise considering GamesIndustry.biz reported that WoW's servers recently hit 1 million simulatenous players in China alone.
Although no release date is set for Wrath of the Lich King, Blizzard said release plans would be drawn as the expansion nears completion.
