[WOW] Disc/Holy Priest Build, Need your opinions

Well my priest has reached level 56 and now im thinking of a good build for him. At first I was going for a holy priest with some points in the discipline tree. However, a deep holy priest is only meant for groups and raids which makes him useless when doing solo.

I am thinking of going for a disc/holy build by improving spell damage of smite and getting the necessary points in holy so that I can still help in the healing department as well.

Good build for doing solo but i suggest to move your 2 points from Silent Resolve to Improved Power Word:Shield as it will help you to absorb more damage and also increases your survivability in pve and pvp both.The rest talents are fine.

@Eminem: The shadow build is pretty decent but it is pure DPS. I already have a mage for doing DPS so I am looking towards a hybrid between holy and disc.

I was using the same build earlier. The build is excellent for supporting a raid, the holy concentration is awesome since you can cast free heals if it is activated. The only downfall with this build is that it is only useful in a group and you can do anything during solos.

as for DPS i just dont get one thing i was doing SWP a few dayz back and i was 2nd in DPS ratings
the 1st one was donor so obviously i dont have a chance but i was out DPSing 2 rogues both and twin glaives of Azzinoth and NiggaZombie's full t6 Mage by a significant margine
I havent seen one mage who can out DPS me mind u i got 2 gr8 1h weapons

Well if you want to go solo Shadow is the only way to lvl but once you're done you can switch to anything you want.
Plus, Shadow Priests are unlike any other DPS Caster a lot of fun to play!
