Hello guys, I want to build a workstation, just to be clear, I'm not a gamer and PC will be mostly for coding etc.

My czn is coming from the USA and computer components are very cheap in USA. So First thing, does it makes sense or is it worth to import the parts or I should just buy a used PC from here as my primary concern is never gaming but I do want it to be fast and at least support M.2 x3 NVMe.

While evaluating prices, I can build a pretty decent PC in around $600 with Ryzen 2600, 16GB 3200, 500GB NVMe and a motherboard and graphics card.
While here in PAK, few generations old pcs are selling around 50k.

Here is the list for reference

Secondly, please suggest me a good motherboard for Ryzen 2600 with NVMe support and 4 dims and good wifi/Bluetooth. I'm never overclocking. and a decent GPU.

What parts are cheaper to buy in PAK and what i should import?

I'm looking to build a dual monitor setup, and your suggestions matter to me a lot.
I want the setup to be power efficient + not expensive + reliable. I don't want to sit everyday and tweak settings and all that.

Thanks :)

Definitely buy every part from the US if you can, prices here are nearly always terrible unless you're going for used parts. For the motherboard you can go for MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon or Gigabyte Aorus Pro Wifi (B450), Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 Wifi or Asus ROG Strix x470s (X470). I'm sure you can find 1080p panels on the cheap here though, it's up to you how many bells and whistles you want when it comes to your screens.

I'm not sure about your GPU budget but since you said that you program I'm assuming you'd want CUDA acceleration. Go with nVidia here. They have an offering for each price point. The used GPU market here is pretty rich, you can buy good products from here. Or you can import new from the US, whichever works for you.

Thank you so much for your input frac :)
Can you gimme an idea for how much I can get a decent used complete build from here? with the board that supports NVMe.
All I care about is system should be upgradable, a decent quad core cpu is all I need, doesn't have to latest.

To be honest, I don't really care about used or new components, the system should work. If I import the parts, I have no way of testing them before I get my hands on them. it's little risky so I'm little skeptical about it u know.

You can find NVMe support for generations 6 and further (Intel) or both Ryzen lineups (AMD). I'm not sure about RAID support though, the latest gens should have it. Both Intel and AMD platforms have good upgradibility. I definitely think you should go with the Ryzen 2600 here (30k-ish), it's a cheap 6-core, 12 thread CPU. It's equivalent (on terms of cores/threads) on the Intel side is the 8700k, which can cost somewhere between 45k-50k+ I think. The problem with Ryzen is that it's usually not available locally.

You shouldn't feel scared about DOA new parts, they're very rare.

For your budget, you should keep at least 50-60k aside for the motherboard, RAM and the CPU (cheaper if you're going for older gens). You can select the card from the remaining budget you're willing to give the PC (after the costs of the case, PSU, storage, monitors etc). There are some parts which are good enough to be bought used (RAM, monitors, CPU) as they rarely fail, and some parts I suggest buying new (storage, PSU, motherboards) etc. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for the help, I will keep that in mind. Let's see.. I will get NVMe imported for sure, about the rest I will see if it worth all the hassle. Because a peek performance or absolutely latest processor isn't really my requirement but it certainly makes it future proof because I won't be tweaking it every day.
