hey. its working but aesthetically not done yet. I have been delayed due to other commitments. 1 final (hard) piece to do in terms of theme design, so hopefully I get that started in a couple weeks. Will update when I can.

Due to certain reasons took a me a long while to give time to complete it aesthetically, and couldnt come online much either. Will post final images when the image hosting site is back up.


All in all despite being under water I have not been able to OC it much, due to poor TIM on the cpu. I would delid it, but then this motherboard model is bad. Replaced already once under warranty, current one ram area has gone bad. Thinking to find another z97 board to replace it.

How far you able to go on 4790K? 4.6-4.7GHz achievable easily.

I was able to get upto 4.5 on all cores only with difficulty. I did then did try individual clocks, 1 core upto 4.7, 2 cores at 4.6, 3 and 4 cores and 4.5ghz. This CPU needs to be delided as even on stock it gets very hot under stress testing.

But everything is stock now as this board ram area is bad, and this is frustrating. Not to mention lost my 3tb drive too recently, sigh. Anyways thinking of maybe coffee lake or just wait and see what in april ryzen 2 has in store.

My brother is coming on the 16th. If anyone wants to get something small from PC Case Gear it could be done, as I am also getting a few things. Prices are in AUD. However has to be done before this friday as then he has the weekend to get the items from the store. He cannot during workdays.

I however I think if you can get a common item locally its better due to warranty.

To be honest to much led bling imo, red and blue fans apart from water block lights. But, since you linked to the new noctua fans, Im getting 1 as as test to see how it is. Plus I have to change the side window, apart from being dark tinted its all scratched up and visibility is poor. The only thing this case had a problem with. Want to replace with 3mm clear glass. Lets see.

new seasonic psu is in. Hopefully wont have troubles moving on, given how the last psu caused some issues, to an already not so great motherboard. Now have to wait for the new cpus to arrive.

Nopes, I haven't seen any retailer dealing in Noctua products locally. Their products are bit more expensive than competitors, not because overpriced, but it offers high quality product which is why rates are high, too.
Anyways, since we have Thermaltake, corsair and cryorig distributors in Pakistan, we only see coolers from these brands. Company's like Noctua, Reeven, Thermalright having top performance product hasn't been given a chance, at least not yet.
