get the Asian version many advantages, cheaper no voltage converter needed and most games will work.

The American one is also for 24k but you will have a problem with playing games due to the region lock. Because most of the games here are for Jap version and the American has a votage input of 110V so you will need a converter and that will cost you around 1k.Get the Japanese or Asian version but for the Japanese one you will also need a converter.

But not all the games that run on the Japanese version run on the Asian version. I have the asian version and out of the 6 games I bought 1 was not recognized.

Guys i finally bought 360 of 24.6k..... and it is amazing. First game i played on it is gears of war. Its a worth buying. Now i am going for 17" Monitor so i can enjoy hd quality.

Congrats man. Which games did you get except gears? And which console did you get the Japnese one or the Asian ?

I'm playing now, first i'll buy a monotor then i'll enjoy 360 power.

@blackrider: that might be a disc problem or same old game copying problem or might be possible that it's not a NTSC/J...U know our local dukaan wala..miss printing..etc..

Guys i have a confusion
360 which i bought NTSC/J is it japan or asian version. it has the power supply of 220V. I want to know which version i have asian or japan. I have two games one is region free and other is for japan only, both are running fine.

I think it is the Asian one as the power supply is 220V. Nearly all of the Japanese games run on the Asian one.
