Its all very possible the wii hardware is old and Nintendo has almost put in no security measures they just don't care.

To Be Honest, when nintendo started, they had just the not-so-casual gamers in mind. These companies, they pay analysts millions of $s to 'predict' the future of their products. They knew about all this coming, but yeah sure they couldn't care less because, Atleast in Japan, Mainstream US/europe... what will be the ratio of people (owning these consoles &) who read engadget/gizmodo/slashdot/joystiq/kotaku daily? .. 5% - 10%?

So Big Ninty's not gonna take any big hit off these mod-chips. Good work thou, now i just hope it VALID (the CHIP)

the wii is REALLY REALLY EASY to hack. all nintendo did was copy the gamecube security checks and change the password ....... from lowercase to uppercase ! lol this is 100% true.
