Wifi connectivity issue

AOA guys,
i have been having a strange issue with my wifi router(ptcl white box an1020-25) since a couple of weeks. whenever i try to connect to it after a while or i try my laptop after an hour or so its doesn't connect to it. sometimes it says authentication problem i reput my passwrd but no good. it only connects when i reboot my router.

might be heat issue with your router
when it refuses to connect, try using Ethernet cable and see it connects or not

might the signals are weak, try to change your laptop/router location

or it could be a permanent issue with the router or wifi card that cannot be corrected ....

Try pinging 192.168.1.1 and see what's the response time.

Well the router is nt that old at first it was ok but after 9mnths like bow i m getting this problem.
How to counter the heating issue? It rests besides the smart tv box in the tv lounge?
