Why should one not immigrate?

I never gave a serious thought to immigrate but now am honestly disheartened by the sad state of affairs in Karachi and thinking about it. The situation in Karachi and overall in Pakistan doesn't seem to improve a bit over the years but worsen. Is there a reason one should stay here? And if not where to move? Canada seems to be recommended widely. Any advise would be very much appreciated. If I've to move, will have to take my family and kids along.

If you happen to have the skills and/or experience to work online, perhaps Turkey would be a better option given the ease of access to other European countries, cost of living and relatively easier requirements for acquiring citizenship.
