Have used Seagate back in the day about 10-15 years back. Then all of them failed switched to WD never looked back now I am very confused which one to go for. I mean 8 tb are only in Seagate but galaxy says they are SURVEILLANCE drives by which I mean they are used to store live video feed from camera etc I checked online a WD 4 tb black drive is for $209.99 while a WD 6 tb drive is for $ 244.99 when converted there is only a difference of 3.5 K in PKR. The problem is there is no WD Black 6 TB drive at galaxy. Plus the only 6 tb gold drive that is there is for 35K almost 12 k more then a 4 tb.

Western Digital 4TB 3.5" SATA HARD DRIVE BLACK Rs 23,000
Western Digital 6TB 3.5" SATA HARD DRIVE PURPLE Rs 27,000 (What is the purple drive for ??)
Western Digital 6TB 3.5" SATA HARD DRIVE GOLD Rs 35,000

I am looking for high performance gold drive have a higher cache size 256mb but this higher cache is only in the bigger drive 8 Tb and above 6 Tb and below drive have the same ol 128mb cache. I am really confused which to go for can someone be kind enough to guide me please.
