vDSL - 8MB (PTCL) Installed - Details Inside ! (Hyderabad)

So Finally Today PTCL installed my vDSL 8MB Connection and trust me i am damn happy with speed and pin, downloading !

Installation Charges And Location :
Complete Charges With Taxes : 4070PKR
Location : Hyderabad, Latifabad Exchange!
Time : It takes 5 days to me to installed vDSL .
PTCL Number : My Old Normal number was changed as they changed my Normal Line to PTCL Fiber . now i have a direct port from the PTCL Fiber Box!
Installation Charges : 2500PKR Modem Charges - Demand Note (Tax Free) + 900PKR Telephone Wire Cost.

They installed vdsl on Fiber line ? When i requested for vdsl they said my Line is on fiber , vdsl can only b installed on copper line..

Connection is more stable compared to normal ADSL. Also upload speed is higher. PTCL ADSL packages only have maximum 1-1.3mbps upload. On VDSL you can get 2-25mbps upload on 8-100mbps downloads. Installation charges are a bit more but overall price inclusive of taxes should be same as normal ADSL 8mbps.

PTCL reps are full of shit.

VDSL is FTTC based.
The Fiber Line is terminated at a pole or cabinet very close to your house, from there on, it is connected to the premises through a copper wire.

VDSL on a pure copper line makes no sense and is impossible as data rates on copper lines are horrible.

I have upgraded my 4MBps connection to 8MBps ... I dont know if its vDSL or ADSL .. but they recently changed my old number to new number which is on Fiber Optics ... secondly ... I am promo package paying for 4Mbps and getting 8Mbps ... will be upgraded to 2400 from 1st June and then 3000 from 1st Sep .. will be getting Smart TV soon as well ...

Edit : Secondly .. did u get the Modem from PTCL or market ?? How much did it cost ??

Can you upload a few speedtests please? I'm currently on 8mbps ADSL but my upload speeds suck; barely 50kB/s. If there's a huge difference in upload speeds, and the speeds are consistent, I'll shift over to vDSL too.

In terms of upload/download yes but its working on interleaving hence the shittier pings than FAST ADSL2+ but better than interleaving ADSL2+.
