Hello everyone,
I'm considering buying either Samsung's A30 or A50 but stuck between the WARRANTY and Non-WARRANTY thing!
Need urgent help in understanding what to go for since I've heard bad things about non-warranty one such as refurbed or repacked stuff.

Also, I need to ask where I can get Sealed Samsung Phone from Karachi?
Should I go for the Official outlet at Hyperstar or what?

Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks for your time!

i personally i always prefer Non warranty Samsung Smartphones, as i have bought Samsung Galaxy S8, J7 Max. one of my Sibling bought a Note 9. As long as they are PTA Approved.

as the local warranty is kinda strange, since Samsung no longer offer Accidental or Breakage warranty and claiming process would be troublesome and time consuming.

for me just buy a Brand new smartphone and Pay close attention to the variant being offered like FD, W, U, F etc and Protect your new smartphone by getting branded accessories like Spigen, Rhinoshield, Otterbox, Ringke, Obliq Screen protector and back Case etc from Allmytech to prevent breakage & you'll be fine.

and i think almost all smartphones in PAK are sold as "Repacked" including the Iphones.

Choosing between A30 or A50 warranty or non-warranty should be a easy decision. As the price difference is merely 3-5K in them, The real point of consideration arrives at Flagship Smartphones, like you can buy a Brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Dual Sim/FD for 130K with local warranty while you can get the Same without local warranty for 100K max brand new.

[/COLOR @murtaza12 can shed some real insight into this topic in more detail...

also @murtaza12 can you also kindly clarify the assembly point you were making the other day to me like Designed & Engineered & Manufactured by Samsung in Malaysia or Vietnam etc.

As i noticed the Non warranty FD model Note 9 which my sibling got is Malaysia while the Note 8 FD model in local warranty (which i was telling you the other day) is made in Vietnam.

and Samsung also set manufacturing plants in INDIA & Bangladesh as well although mostly for mid range smartphones.

Since the price difference between with and without warranty is minor, just go for the official warranty model. Buy from the official Samsung Outlet, they just opened a new flagship store in Karachi:

Manufacturing country makes little difference when buying Samsung phones. Most of the flagships we get here are Made in Vietnam, whereas the mid range phones like A series are sometimes made in Vietnam and sometimes in China as well.

If I have to buy a non warranty Samsung phone, I look for the country of origin, not for manufacturing country. Basically need to know where the phone was intended for sale. Most of the S10s I was talking to you about that I saw in Singapore Plaza where actually imports from Samsung Malaysia. You could tell because they had a Samsung MCS warranty sticker on them, and the region code ended in 'XME' which is for Malaysia. I also saw some from Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam. It's basically the same phone which you get here. All Exynos variants are identical, but with Asian countries, some devices are region locked and I prefer not to buy those. You can tell because there is a sticker on the box that says 'South East Asian SIM card only'.

Good Good as i had saw a Samsung Galaxy A80s on HomeShopping, & Samsung has specifically manufactured this Smartphone for China region Only much like its old "C" series smartphones

Much like the "M" series for India only, Stating on its boxes to use "indian sim only" to tackle Xiaomi and other Chinese entrants.

Exactly. I also saw M series in the market with Indian region lock stickers on it. Those phones are selling surprisingly well.

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
