[SOLVED] Urgent help regarding xperia z3 (d6653) /(6603)

Salam, I'm going to buy sony xperia z3 from local market. I found 2 pieces in good condition. One D6653 and other is D6603. Both on lollipop 5.x.x. D6653 seller said he will upgrade to marshmallow then i can buy from him. And D6603 seller said i have to update it my self after i have bought. I need to know if there's chance of any problems after upgrade. I heard local market sets are refurbished. But i can't tell the diff. The D6603 model is with box and charger only. Any kind of help/ Info would be great.

No difference except LTE bands.

I'd recommend that whichever one you get, update it YOURSELF by flashing the latest FTF.

Sorry for being ignorant about android phones. Did you mean to install the update by myself VIA wifi? or is it something that you do from your pc?

You gotta do it through your PC.

Reason for this:
No idea what region the phone comes from or what region ROM is installed on it.
My recommendation (if you get the D6603), flash the latest UK firmware.
If you get the D6653, flash the latest generic unbranded firmware.
Now the reason for this is, that UK and Generic usually get quick updates so it would benefit you and you wouldn't have to flash the update every time and you can update through WiFi then.

Go on YouTube and search how to flash FTF for Xperia Z3.

You can download the UK firmware yourself using XperiFirm.

Tutorial for every thing is available on XDA and YouTube.

And yes, go for D6603.
