They are illegal. Yes if over a specific limit like said above, then it becomes a commercial thing and then they install a commercial meter. So you get charged like that. We also get harrased by them but we know their trick so we usually tell them that it's not working or majority of times I don't even let them come inside to inspect the house.
if you dont allow them inside house,do they note your meter number and charge you anything? they can start generator if you say that its not working? bills on domestic meter are sky high, let alone commercial meter which takes 50-60k for installation only,SSGC is charging GSD every month!

Nope. Why would they charge me anything? They don't have any evidence and if they even see the generator, I disconnect the gas connection to it and say that it runs on diesel because the gas kit is not easily visible and they have to inspect deep to look at it. But as i said 9/10 times I don't even let them in.

wide means to charge batteries @ 20 amps ( in case u want ur battery to ef up soon ) and narrow means to charge batteries @ 10 amps ... 10 amps is ideal charging current for batteries but cux ov extensive blackouts we want our batteries to be fully charged b4 the next coming hourly blackout ...
That is NOT what those buttons are for. Please stop spewing made up stuff. Narrow Mode and Wide Mode are for sensitivity selection. Most inverters here are offline UPS and the wide-narrow switch simply tells them when to turn on. In wide mode, the sensitivity of the inverter is very low (it wont turn on till the WAPDA drops below around 130V) and they take a long time to switch (~50MS) in narrow mode the sensitivity is relatively high (usually around 190V) and switch time is also prety damn fast. (15 MS typical). This is why if you have a PSU with a charge hold time of more than 15 MS, your PC will not trip.

I want to buy A Stabilizer for Dawlance 9166 WBES refrigerator But i have no idea which one to buy
For refrigerator Relay based stabilizer is best due to the starting compressor load. Servo is usually use for the application where you have required fast response time from stabilizer like computer. On refrigerator circuit its already built in if compressor trips for any reason it will take 2 to 3 mints for next try so relay based will perfectly fine. But buy with pure copper winding.

Don't they have a built-in stabilizer to step up the voltage ?

I've read on some forum that they a switch for this purpose (narrow and wide range) but don't really know how it works.

Thanks

i don no much abut these pak cheen dosti inverters ... may b thy had .. y don u try to call up their official numbers .. check out their numbers in ur box or online .. but AFAIK inverter cant fully be a stabilizer ... u hv to hv a STABILIZER on back end if ur volts drops too much .. mine is APC UPS n their stabilizer works till 190 after that thy switch to backup mode ... so i hv installed an inverter on back of ups so that it cud hv 220 volts all the time ...

Suggest me a UPS + Battery in 40k cost.
I wish to run the following appliances

40" LED
23" LED with PC of Core i5 Skylane PC with GTX 950 Processor
Router
Macbook pro Laptop Charger
Two fan, Two tubelights.

Backup time required is two hours.

My understanding is that for such senstiive items, APC is only way to go. But which model. Pros and Cons for different models.

Strange problem with the UPS. Help

So my ups started to act up again after 3 months and this time Im going to get it fixed but I need a little help diagnosing the problem. The problem started 3 months ago when after switching from WAPDA to batteries it works for 5 seconds after which the red fault light comes on, the ups give out a long beep and then it goes off. Initially the problem used to go away after restarting a couple of times but then it restarting stopped working as well. After that I blew air through the air holes and surprisingly the porblem went away for 3 months but it has returned again. It just happened again and this time restarting wasnt helping either but again blowing air into the air holes has somehow made it to work for now.

I want to get it fixed but you know how the shopkeepers are so I wanted to take it knowing what the problem is. So can anyone here guide me as to what the problem is and what needs to be fixed. Thanks

@mods Please correct the spelling mistake in the post.

Guys, I make UPS myslef, Pure Sine Wave UPS which are perfect for your PC as well as inductive loads. Contact me for inquiry. I will guide you to the best of my capabilities. As far as batteries are concerned, they will last longer on a sine wave ups since charging is fixed at 10amps and has a deep charging function up to 4 charging modes.

No problem dude. If anyone requires any guidance or want to purchase a UPS do contact me.
I have a querry, I bought that INVEREX which has option for installing Solar Panels too. Do I have to connect Solar Panels directly in the UPS or I have to fit in something before connecting Solar Panels?
