I got this from an AC technician who came to service my AC. He had this thermometer with a long wire and a sensor attached to it. He put that sensor in the grills to check AC's cooling. So somehow I bought this from him for 200rs Initially it was for my AC's but it can also show ambient temps if u hang its wire without touching any surface. It looks similar to this:

U can check some electronic shops epecially those who sell AC's spare parts like compressors and gas etc. They should have these.

Its available at Astrontech Lahore. U can ask ur local hardware vendor to get it from them for u if ur not in Lahore. U can also contact them directly and they'll ship it to u.
