Salam Friends ….. After long time am posting here … life becomes very busy &age factor is there as well
And after long time Intel has made some interesting change in its CPUs, upgrading i3 to 4/4& i5 6/6 …since 1[SUP]st[/SUP] gen. it was 2/4 i3 & 4/4 i5 …… thanks go to Ryzen which has pushed Intel to revise its plans ...
Budget didn’t allow me to get un unlocked processors, though i5 8400 is an interesting product, might its base clock 2.8ghz is disappointing but its turbo boost reaches 3.8 GHz with 6/6 cores which is impressive…
You guys may take look at benchmarks below and compare them with your systems … a 24k i5 8400 can be easily compete with 35~39k i7 6700l/7700k
All tests were taken @ stock settings, though ram xmp 3200 but tests were taken @ 2133 except Winrar which is taken at both 2133 & 3200
