ubuntu nfs setup need HELP!!!

okay i got rid of win xp and installed ubuntu i have never used linux before and till now everything is smooth.

i decided to learn everything myself but i am kinda stuck i have been trying to setup nfs server to share media from ubuntu computer to xbmc on my ipad and i think i have failed miserably so i would like some help.so can someone familiar with ubuntu can help me!

Tell us more where you are stuck... Have you installed it? Are you unable to mount the share?

PS Don't know much about xbmc but will try to help you if you can provide more info

i have installed the server tried sharing download folder but its not working....
