Uboxing of Two EVGA GTX 1070 FTW Hybrids

Finally, wait is partially over as my first ever hybrid card is here. Wait was too much and stock of 1080 Hyrbid was not settling so decided to get two 1070 FTW Hybrids. Did not disappoint me at all. Even the single card is doing me a good performance. Second card is coming in next week. Card boosted to 2012MHz out of the box without any overclock. Replaced the stock fan with Corsair ML Pro. Corsair means some serioosu business there. A single ML Pro at 50% of rated RPMs is meeting Noctua NF-F12 iPPC @ 3000RPM on 50% in Push/Pull. Amazing performance and yet dead silent. Loving it. ML Pros are highly recommended from my side if you want high performance level with silent operations. Loving the graphics card, its looks, LEDs. Magic. No regret ditching 1080s. SLI of 1070s would be more than good enough for me at 2k.

Now comes the dangerous part Should Furmark be run or not! Hmmm! Decided to run it for 30 minutes and result is too good for AIO card. I've ordered IR Temperature Gun. Will check the VRM/MOSFET temps with another run of FurMark and report here. Ambient temp was 27C.

2000 RPM is for the inverted fan on the cooler shroud of the card not on the rad. On rad, Corsair ML Pro is installed and set to run at 50% of RPM. For all ML Pro owners, please set these fans to run on PWM nor on DC or direct power from PSU.
