Torrent Port Forward

Hi guys, can someone tell me how to do the port forwarding on the "Shiro" DSL modem? I am using the PTCL DSL. I have already tried the portforward.com but sadly it's not working for me (the instructions there are quite weird)

portforward.com is an excellent site for port forwarding help.......... i first thought the intructions there were weird, but they are not...

anyways, tell us the exact details for your modem, e.g. manufacturer, model number, etc.. and which application do you want to port forward...

ok yeah i got the same shiro modem and by the help of portforward i was able to turn my red icon in utorrent to greeen

heres teh page and the shiro modem has only 1 model out atm

Hey why do you need port forwarding??? I have ptcl dsl and i am easily downloading using torrents, even tho the speed is kinda slow, but even then it does work for me.. I have the huawei modem..

i m not satisfy with this modem. yah i know huawei is a nice modem with easy conf mode. but Shiro is sucks.
i have 512 but i get only 20-25 kb at torrent.

And that's the reason for slow downloading port forwarding allow the incoming connections, means better torrent speed.

and inferno, dont u think the guide on port forward is adequate enough?

and Major, shiro CP doesnt suck and it CANT be slow coz its just a web page!

Hey MAJOR ................. actually u should leave utorrent ... and use Aureus ......i got tha same problem as u tried hard .. opened ports ... but even with the green on .. the speeds were bekaar even with thousands of seeders ........ so i just downloaded azureus and speeds instantly went to 45 - 50

lol yar guyz shiro is the best modem lol it lets u have upto 26mbps speed, why isn't it the best one ptcl is offering this is why mr major u are a noob (ps: noobs mean newbie, we are saying u a noob because obviouslt u don't know much about port forwarding)

@inferno: well the guide lol can't get easier than on the page supplied, it's the darndest easiest and helpful guide on the net on portforwarding plus igave him the exact page he wanted since there is only 1 shiro modem model in the world
