After searching for a while, I finally got a DSLR Canon 20D with USM 18-55mm Lens thanks to [MENTION=20555]Dragg3r[/MENTION].
I have taken some great shots but right now I'm running auto. I need help to get started with my photography at manual.
One thing I have noticed is that I get some un-stabilized photos even when I'm running Auto mode. What could be the reason? Some help with getting me started would be really appreciated. Anyway, here are my first shots :

Zabardast Photos Saffwan,

Auto mode determines the lighting conditions on its own and sets the aperture and shutter speed according to it, Try taking photos in the "P" mode i explained you about. If there is less light and photos are shaky then try stepping up the ISO a notch until the shutter speed is OK. Go ahead and attach the speed-light for indoor shots and play around with it.

Do share more photos ;)

Yes, I have been using "P". That's what auto is I think? Read it on the internet though.
Yes I have set the ISO all the way to 1600 for indoors because anything below that, causes the shutter to stop for like 5 seconds. How do I increase/decrease the shutter speed? And change the F stop?

Well, Auto is that green boxy thingy on the dial... P is called Program mode which allows you to change the ISO and exposure. Have a look into the Metering modes as that makes a difference too. Avoid using High ISO as it causes a lot of noise. Go ahead and attach the speed light for indoor and make sure to bounce it off the roof. Keep the power on 1/1. When speed light is attached keep the ISO to a maximum of 400... Go ahead and try it out and get back to me with the results.

You may change every setting in Manual mode "M". Try that after a few days after you are familiar with the basics.

Okay that's great. I'll take some shots with the speed light and come back with the results. But there is one thing. Take a look at the picture of the sun which I took with the 3X macro extension tube, can you see the dust and other things? I have noticed that in a couple of photos as well. How to get rid of that?

Its been a while since the body has not been serviced.. Use it for some time and when you go to saddar to get a new lens just tell em to clean the sensor..

Well I won't really go to saddar, I'll buy a used lens, or if you find any 70-300mm lens, do let me know.

The only reason I have put them in spoiler is because I don't want The post to look dirty. (Like all the pictures trying to load on a slow internet, you can see them one by one instead if they are in spoiler)

If you are thinking that then that doesn't help
Becoz posting in spoiler will not load one by one it still loads the same way it should
But spoiler making the mobile / tablet / handheld user pain to open each spoiler to view the single image is a teadious task
