Same here! I'm currently only watching Arrow and not Flash.

I watched the first couple of episodes and it wasn't picking up pace like Arrow did.

But judging from the reviews here, looks like it gets better down the road.

Unfortunately Arrow lost its charm after S02. Flash also contain some filler episodes which are quite boring but as whole the show is fine.

And Arrow regained it's charm in S4. It's now better than the Flash, and has solid writing so far.

Arrow has definitely got some character this season and Flash has lost its charm after 2nd episode. But the point is this season of Flash is all about the introduction to multiverse phenomenon and introduction to season regular characters. The way they are introducing Wala. West is very time consuming and it requires such a prelude. Similarly not every audience has seen Flash Point (animated movie) or read comics to understand how Flash can jump n time travel. Once all pieces and players are introduced Flash will become amazing like last season. On a side note I was really disappointed to see a brief appearance of J Garrick character and then after that we didn't see much about earth 2 or time travel or even explaining that phenomenon in more detail. We still have more than 17-18 episodes to go so I have high hopes for Flash becoming one of the best TV dramas.
But still DC comics don't have uniformity in their visual appearance on TV. Really love Gotham n its overall setting. Hope we see crossover next year between all DC comic dramas.

Edit: and Episode 5 is finally here and it's getting exciting isn't it.

We are meeting new characters like Harrison wells from Earth 2, Dr Light and Wells daughter which in comics is also a speedster but let's see how they show this tv series.
But most importantly we meet zoom again and somehow I am more convinced zoom is someone we already know and seen him already in this series, someone who knows Barry better than anyone else despite not meeting him before the events of first season.
