^^^ i dont know im following the ps3t guides and im on level 4 now and i just watch the guide once and am literally able to follow it making 1-2 mistakes but than i retry the puzzle and get gold

So today, I was pondering over all this trophy hunting mania and the countless hours that we have spend on trophy hunting. Platting a game can take 10 hours to as much as 500 hours, but when converted into the points earned it's the same, 180 points. Meaning if you platinum demon's souls, it'll net you the same amount of points as the platinum trophy of Hannah Montana would. However, platting a game like Hannah Montana or Spare Parts can never get you the same amount of satisfaction as Dead Space 2 or Demon's Souls would, but when it comes to leveling up and points, they're equal. What if the points that a platinum earns us were based on it's difficulty and length?

I, myself, like quick plats though, you level up faster

I would say a Demon souls platinum is wayy better than Hannah Montana, Shrek, or any other Disney game combined, but this only a true trophy hunter can understand.
Average gamers would say, oh ma gawd, he has 30+ platinums!!!! I would look at his list and then determine that 30 + platinum's worth.

30+plati means he has 02 ps3 01 at shop and other at home.with electricity back up too. thrust me crazy for hunting trophies make you to forget wt is happening around you.

I couldn't agree with Mafiadog more, you don't really want to know what i think of people that plat shit games. Hell i know alot of people that actively seek and buy easily plattable games.

When i notice a player has a high trophy level, i go through his list. If i find more than 3 questionable games there, you really won't be getting my respect.

That's like saying i'm amazing i've slept with 200 dogs as compared to a guy who's slept with just 5 good-looking girls. He's better than you.

Truthfully it's not as cut and dry as you put it. Take a game like the sly collection, one of favorite platformers from the PS2 heydey. I go out and buy it for nostalgia sake but turns out it has the easiest trophies. If someone tells me I got the game for the platinum, I won't feel too good about that will I?

Sure there was a time I went platinum crazy and started doing exactly what you just pointed out but I'm cured of that curse now thankfully.

I know people who platinum SHIT games like UP the game, cars and cars 2 etc but I ALWAYS make sure to platinum respectable games like God of War, Uncharted, Call of Duty etc I recently platinumed uncharted 1 to add to my 2 platinum and I have to say it felt satisfying. I laugh and point fingers at those losers who platinum kid games for the sake of trophies, its sad and pitiful

I've bought only two games because of the easy trophies they offer, Spare Parts and Terminator: Salvation, but now, I regret wasting my time on those games. To redeem myself, I went for the Demon's Souls plat., and from then onwards, I've gone on to platinum the games which I either liked or the ones which posed a real challenge.

^ yes. you shouldn't, the game is utter bullshit, even I, with no experience in making videogames whatsoever, could have made a better game . Wasting $10 on this lame excuse for a game reminded me that the fun factor also counts. Get inFAMOUS 2: Festival of Blood, which would be a gazillion times better than Spare Parts, instead if you have $10 lying around.

im gonna get infamous 2 festival of blood any way, most probably pick up heist too, but yea wont be buying spare parts.

chains of olympus plat is much easier than ghost of sparta, try that out now.

You should get heist Wajie, it has a platinum trophy. Not to mention it's shit loads of fun. I've only played the first mission but I can already see the game has loads of replayability.
