The Order: 1886 is an upcoming single-player action-adventure game developed by Ready at Dawn and SCE Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It’ll be released for PlayStation 4 on February 20th, 2015. The game sets in London, covering the history, a group named “The Order” comprised of four knights endeavoring to bring peace and order. An ancient war against the inhumane, also known as the “Half-breed” who are genetically different and strong. The Order discovers Black Water, a specialized liquid which aggrandizes their healing abilities that aids them in fighting the Half-breed. After the Industrial Revolution, The Order is equipped with strong firepower – the futurist and modernized weapons for payback.

Half-breed appears to be a great hurdle for The Order and the mankind’s survival, a second hurdle demonstrates in the shape of “Rebels”, a union of poor people rebelling against the rich which is rapidly increasing. Now, The Order has to maintain peace and harmony and neutralize the barrels approaching in their path. In the game, you play as a knight and is a member of The Order.

The game is said to have the characters in accordance with the history but it’s not yet confirmed. Creative Director Ru Weerasuriya says that the game was influenced by Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Furthermore, the game will only run at 30 FPS because 60 FPS ruins the appreciation of beauty. The game was announced at Sony E3 2013 Conference and Ru also says that the game has been in works since 2010.
