Yep using VDSL 25mbps and it is stable most of the time but sucks when it comes to watching live streams or gaming. GPON is currently not available in my area, it is either VDSL or World Call cable but hopefully Stormfiber makes it to my block. Currently they are live in D2 and E1 block while I am in F2 block so lets hope that my block is under their radar.

I have a separate number for landline that doesn't have any internet services attached to it however in the last bill I noticed that PTCL has associated a 5mbps internet service with this number without my consent and I am being charged extra PKR 1250 for it. I didn't even ask them for internet services for this number. These scammers are on another level. Sent them an email so hopefully they sort this crap out.

I am just surprised to see that PTCL has set your line for 100mbps and with 8ms delay your overall ping might be around 12-15ms. Do you ever face any disconnections as the SNR margin is less than 10?

No disconnections happy with the speed also..... ping is 13ms to local servers................In my opinions PTCL can do wonders all depends on their mood

I have decided not to pay the bill for PTCL as I have switched to Nayatel and they will disconnect the phone automatically I dont have time to go to their office and disconnect the services plus its not on my name too !! Too much hassle.

Even if you go by their office and tell them to discontinue they will keep sending you bills despite unsubscribing. Guess what, it's been 8 months and i get bills every month to this date despite telling them to discontinue my phone, DSL. :laugh1:

Thats why I am not going to them and emailed them to discontinue my service.. I will not pay the bills. I dont get paper bills anyways.. I will just ignore bills on email lol

If the service is installed on your home adress so you have to clear the ptcl dues.

never heard anything happened to people not paying bills but but i think just return modem splitter etc and get over with it why take risk

I am just disconnecting ptcl with the phone line but they are saying to bring the owner but he is not here anymore.. So I cannot do anything..
Yes I am using restream.io to stream on twitch.. Directly streaming to twitch doesnt give me more than 4Mbps upload speed..

Their unlimited packages have 1TB limit.. Rather get extreme 15 package and u will truely unlimited time from 6PM to 10AM and sat and sunday.

Yep I paid extra for crossing the limit thats the reason i didnt get unlimited package from nayatel as the Extreme 15 is truly unlimited with no caps
