I had to bear loss of few thousand rupee. but I guess its worth it.
No dev support was a turn off!

:) once again! thanks for great thread! atleast I had a forum to discuss my problems!

So is there any difference in your experience between the Korean version and the D851.?

I rooted, flashed a custom recovery+rom on immediate day I bought d851.
But thats pretty much it.
Dev support and customized android experience is all I have got.

If you've read my earlier posts, you should know that there is no other difference otherwise.
I actually miss the build quality and performance of cat6. That never heated nor rarely lagged like this d851.

In informal language, keera tha jo spray say nahi marna tha. XD

Despite being better on hardware quality and specs, cat6 is cheaper or same.
You get antenna and all the issues of Korean sets (low dev sup, low rom compatibility, no system update).

If you are ok with that, I'd say go for Korean mobiles. They are much cheaper and better.
