Clans
Clans are an optional feature in Clash of Clans, but it is strongly recommended that every player joins a Clan. Collaboration is a very important and helpful aspect of this game.
What is a Clan?
Clans are groups of players that join together in order to compete with other Clans in two ways: the first is to pool their trophies and battle to collect the most trophies, and the second is to win Clan Wars for loot and Clan XP. Members of Clans have a private chat for socializing with each other, are able to challenge each other, and are able to donate troops and dark spells to each other. Within a Clan, there are four ranks, member, elder, co-leader, and leader. Including the leader, you can have up to 50 members of a Clan.
Joining a Clan
To be a member of a Clan you must first repair your Clan Castle. To do this will cost you 10,000 gold. Once your Clan Castle has been repaired you have the option of joining or creating a Clan. There are various ways to join a Clan. Below are some examples:
View a Clan that has the status 'Anyone Can Join' and taps the 'join' button.
Send a request to join a Clan that has the status 'invite only'.
Go on global chat and watch for people recruiting members to join their Clan.
Accepting an invitation sent by a clan elder/co-leader/leader.
Note: Some Clans have a minimum trophy requirement to join their Clan; you cannot join nor send a request to join if you do not meet the trophy requirement (you can, however, be invited and accept the invite). The trophy requirement is set by the Clan leader or co-leader and can vary from 0 to 4,200.
Clan Roles
Leader
Clan leaders are the ones who have the big responsibility of managing their Clan. In order to create a brand-new Clan, it costs an additional 40,000 gold, whereupon the player will immediately become the first member and leader of the new Clan. The leader has the administrative authority to invite players to join their Clan, accept or decline requests to join, start wars, and promote/demote members to and from eldership and/or co-leader. The leader can kick out co-leaders, elders, and members.
The main difference between the Clan leader and a co-leader is that only the leader has the authority to demote a member from co-leadership. It is strongly discouraged for leaders to freely give away leader status, as this will completely and irrevocably relinquish control to the new leader. There can only be one leader at a time.
Clan Messages
Clan leaders/co-leaders may now send messages to the whole Clan. You may type up to 256 characters. However, there is a 1-hour cool-down period for each leader or co-leader after sending a message, so consider carefully what you are going to send. The message will be sent to all clan members and viewed in their inbox. The message remains in the inbox after being viewed. After a certain number of new messages are sent or a certain time frame, it will be deleted.
Co-leader
Co-leader is the title for a clan member that has earned the utmost trust of the Clan leader. The co-leader has the administrative authority to invite and accept join requests from players, promote/demote/kick clan elders and members, start wars, and can also edit the Clan information (badge, description, type, required trophies). You can have as many co-leaders in a Clan at one time as the leader wishes.
Just like leaders, Clan co-leaders also have the ability to send messages to the whole clan.
NOTE: Both the leader and the co-leader(s) can start a war and choose who participates in it.
Elder
Elder is the title for the Clan members with a higher reputation and level of respect than regular Clan members. An elder has the administrative authority to invite and accept join requests from players, and kick out regular Clan members (but, unlike leaders and co-leaders, they have to wait 20 minutes after kicking a member to kick another one). They are unable to promote other members. There can be as many elders in a Clan at one time as the leader/co-leader(s) wish.
Member
A member is an ordinary part of the Clan and has no additional rights. This is the rank you start at when you join a Clan. Members cannot invite or promote and may be kicked by elders, co-leader, or the leader.
Note: You will start as a member of any Clan, even when re-joining a clan in which you once were an elder, co- leader, or leader. There can be multiple members.
Hopper (Unofficial)
A player who jumps from Clan to Clan. This person will usually join, ask for troops and then leave. This type of hopper is generally disliked by members of a close-knit, loyal Clan.
Clan Chat
Once you join a Clan, you also get access to its private chat. All recent messages, even those sent before you joined, are seen. You can also see who is being promoted/demoted/kicked, including invite requests and those who have left the Clan. If a leader or co-leader starts a Clan War, a message is sent out in the chat to let everyone know. You can report anyone in Clan Chat.
Making a new Clan
Assuming his or her Clan Castle is already rebuilt, a player must do the following to create a new Clan:
Choose the badge and name of the clan.
Make a description of your clan to let know others what you're all about (optional)!
Select the status of the clan/clan type. i.e.; Anyone can join, invite only or closed.
Set a number of trophies required to join the clan
Select the war frequency of the clan.
Choose out the Clan Location of your clan.
Pay the required 40,000 gold.
Editing Your Clan
The leader or co-leader(s) of the Clan may edit the badge, Clan type, minimum trophy requirement and description of the Clan. It is not possible to change the name of a Clan once it has been created.
Clan Bookmarks
You can bookmark up to 30 clans that help you to find a specific clan easier. The clans you bookmarked are also ranked from top to bottom by the amount of Clan Points.

Different ways of upgrading and Playing style
Defenseless
A base in which the player does not build any defenses (including walls) except for the initial cannon you are given (note this is not upgraded), but progresses through the game.
Why do they this?
Wars weight (A term used to describe your effect on what level opponent you face) is currently mainly based on your defensive buildings. Buildings such as X-bows, Infernos and Eagle Artillery weight in the most. People seek to skew the matchmaking system in their favor by added some of these bases to their war line-up. In doing so for example a clan with a dozen or so TH 11's will reduce their weight and may face an opponent with TH 10s instead. The defenseless base however still have high-level heroes and troops and can clear the top base.
Engineered
Engineered is a less-extreme version of defenseless where the player omits certain defenses for one of two reasons.
The player does not build high-level defenses such as infernos, X-bows and Eagle Artillery.
Omitting high-level defenses to reduce war weight.
Example:
A TH11 who has no infernos or eagle but has every other defense maxed or has only TH9 defenses. This gives them the attacking strength of a TH11 and defenses weight of a TH9 or below making it easier to 3 stars the opponents in war.
It is practiced to gain an advantage over the opposing clan by having end-game offense and mid-game defense.
0.5's
O.5's are a way upgrading once you reach the next TH level. They are dissimilar to engineered in that the aim isn't to skew the match-making into giving you a weaker opponent but to prevent you being given a tougher opponent before having a chance to upgrade your offensive troops/heroes.
Example:
A player moves from TH10 to TH11, they have just started their grand warden and he is low level or may be down while upgrading. They do not wish to face a TH11 in battle because they have yet to research TH11 troops and their warden is low level or upgrading. So they do not build the Eagle Artillery in the hopes that they will be matched with a max level TH10 which is where their offensive level is.
Rushed
Rushed is a common term used to describe someone who has progressed through the game with a little understanding of game and war weight or the penalty for looting lower level town hall players. They generally rush to TH9, 10 and 11 for high-end defenses and heroes but then struggle as they have left their other defenses and troops at a much lower level.
Example:
A TH6 who keeps upgrading his town hall to get to the eagle and grand warden and find their TH6 troops are no match for the opponents they face in multiplayer.
When players first start they can easily fail to read the notice about the loot penalty for hitting lower level players. They rush blindly ahead believing the new defense or hero will make them more powerful. This is sadly a big mistake.

Th11 here. I easily get 3 stars to mid max th-11 in my loot attacks. you just need to do proper funnel.
Either you can use wiz, baby dragon or bowlers with the healer or you can just use queen walk for proper funneling. Then I open the passage using EQ or jump spell.
After that, I drop 1 or 2 giants to check. It is approaching eagle artillery and infernos.
Then deploy all 16 giants plus cc giants, king, warden, 13 wiz and 5 bowlers targeting eagle artillery and infernos, just pump them with rage spell. They destroy center main defense in seconds. Rest defense and buildings are piece of cake for remaining troops and Queen.
This loot attack is easy. you just need practice. You can do this without King and Warden too.

I started 3.5 years ago. Max King and Max Queen. Warden level-17, just 3 level left. 200 lava walls out of 300. little lab work and 6 months defense upgrade left.
Farming Now, After getting warden back start pushing trophies to titan.

Nope Bro. believe me, Warden is not good enough. Lvl 10 warden has the ability of 4 seconds. lvl15, 4.5 seconds and lvl20, 5 seconds. it does not help much and you have to trigger it the right time. yes, it can heal your main troops when using the ability with a heal spell. I find 19 20 difference attacking with or without a warden.
I personally like bowlers miners combo. check this one.

.You are right gw doesn't make significant difference but those high level heroes do

I've tried a few Pakistani clans ... There is something seriously wrong with local players ... They act like its the end of the world if you fail to get 3 stars or something else goes wrong ... Now I've been with a lvl 10 US clan for over a year ... And they don't bother if a player gets 0 or 3 stars ... Play the game as it is supposed to be .. for entertainment ..
If your clan is not the "serious" type .. I'd like to join it with my 2nd account ..
No there isn't any thing like end of world if you don't get 3 stars in war but effort should be genuine, like your are not attacking with proper army compostion or going without heroes and cc and then expect no one noticed that
You shouldn't make your self available for war if your heroes is on upgrade
If someone is not decisive about how attacks should be taken place he can take guidance from senior player they are helpful
Offcourse no body is pro here attacks do fail but He should work his self in improving
And do war attacks timely rather than calling person to attack
The basic rule is do your first attack with in 12 hrs after war starts the 2nd attack is based on war situation
How much time do you give to game as we need active players as you have 2nd account i am not sure how much time you give it to that account
