Ditched Telenor for using their data. Complained them hundreds of time but they simply don't ever bother to even listen to your issues. So went to Jazz franchise and bought 4G sim and I was impressed that this is the speed I'm receiving on average now. Pretty dope.

You talk about poor speeds? They should fix their signals in the first place because where they have their towers, unplanned constructions, billboards, buildings and other things have popped up and these guys won't bother fixing it. Developed countries don't place their towers high up in the sky to avoid visual pollution, and even if they do, they try to camouflage it so that the city's landscape isn't disturbed - so I can understand why they have their towers lower down. But the side effect is that their antennas get blocked regularly.
And when you have a company that doesn't give two hoots about their signals/coverage and their quality of data speeds, well - this is what happens. They are already the second largest because they tapped the rural market first when others didn't, and only recently has their focus shifted towards the urban market.
VoLTE? Yeah, on one phone, I believe. They say on their Twitter feed all phones that support 850Mhz support VoLTE. In books, maybe, but not on their network.
I complained to them that there are a few spots where their signals are weak, and another place where I mentioned you enter a dead zone. Apparently, it's either "the best we can provide right now" or "the tower is down and maintenance is underway"... for over a year!
The only two good things? (1) when the pandemic came up, they announced on their website that PTA is asking for the customer data, and that this policy is applicable to all telcos (no other telco had this disclaimer), and (2) you can use 3G data whilst on a call.
Otherwise? Well... carrier aggregation rarely worked (it did once upon a time, and the same is with Jazz, but it doesn't work), so you get speeds of around 1Mbps when you could be scoring way, way higher (combined with the fact that their towers are a bit on the lower height). I ported out to Zong today, sent the request in the afternoon, and I got booted from Telenor's network in the evening.
And lo and behold! I have something for you all to feast your eyes upon! Do you see the 3x CA for Zong? I don't know what the combined spectrum is (I know it's definitely 30Mhz cause 1800+2100 = 30 Mhz, but I don't know what's up with the third 1800Mhz segment).
Couldn't test speeds since the new SIM plan stuff only permits 2GB or so from midnight till 7 PM (and it was 8.26 PM).
And this is in Bahria Phase 8. Most places have 2xCA, but this was the second place which had 3xCA, and it was near my home. I don't get anything inside my house since we live in another forsaken place where there's a lot of unplanned tall construction obstructing phone towers...
