Just heard this news that Telenor's launching two 3G enabled handsets on the 15th of this month. The specs of both the sets are unknown. We'll get to know more when they are launched.
The first one seems to be the conventional phone with physical keys and all, which would be 3G enabled and will be priced between Rs.3-4k, and the other a smartphone, to be priced between Rs.6-7k.
I hope they at least learn from Ufone's mistakes and don't come up with a 512 MB RAM set. By the looks of it, I'm guessing it's a ZTE phone(just talking about the smartphone, here). The phones would definitely be network locked and Telenor will be giving free data alongwith the phones. The phones will come with a warranty of 18 months - which is a first.
