I went to about 3,4 arcades after several years gap last week. All I found was the good ol' tekken 3. They're pretty much dying in the not-so-rich neighbourhoods.

I wanted to give the PlayStation Nation the inside scoop on some cool things we have coming up for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 this week. Starting on Tuesday, November 13th, we will be offering Tekken Tag Tournament 2 as a download on PlayStation Store for $49.99. For those of you doing the math right now, that’s $10 cheaper than a Blu-ray copy of the game. And for those of you who have not purchased the game yet and are looking for another excuse to download or grab a copy, we will be releasing the final timed character roster update this week as well! BOOM! HYPE! WISDOM!
Monday night we’ll unleash the final Tekken fighters from their cages and let them loose on the internet for our dedicated fans. The new unlocked characters for feature three returning favorites: Dr. Boskonovitch, Unknown and Violet. It’s been a while since players have been able to get their hands on these characters and play as them themselves, with Dr. B last playable in Tekken 3, Unknown last playable in the original Tekken Tag Tournament and Violet in Tekken 4. It’s been a long time, but we think it has been worth the wait when you see the changes the team has made to the new characters. These guys are absolute beasts in the ring with new move sets since the last time we’ve seen them.
And in addition to that, we will also be releasing Ancient Ogre, Angel, Michelle Chang and Kunimitsu to everyone as well. These four characters have, up until now, have only been available for players who pre-ordered the game. Now with everyone able to use them, I’m super interested to see what you guys can cook up in the lab with them. To top all that off, these characters are absolutely free and are added to your character select the next time you boot up your copy of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and are connected to the internet.
So be sure to download Tekken Tag Tournament 2 from the PSN Store this Tuesday, grab all those unlocked characters, brush up your skills in the Fight Lab and let’s take this fight online. And make sure you sign up for a World Tekken Federation account to join online teams and receive detailed analysis of all your past fights. ^ yea his t3 style was funny. So played a while with his in tag2 . they've killed a lot of his old moves. Have fixed his broken stance but a lot of the fun stuff is gone, heck his '10 string' combo is gone as well :|

it's unlocked for everyone now. It was pre-order exclusive for first 2 months only., NOW once you boot itno the game , you should see Dr.B, Angel, Snoop Dogg stage etc.awh god...

well it depends u see....i dont know if uve ever played fighting games on a competitive level so i ll begin from here
fighting games themselves are more like chess and poker...u have to condition your opponents way of thinking according to yours (strategy of chess)....and you have to make an educated guess (strategy of poker)...so its more like battle of the minds than that of the fists...
observation is the key tool in winning...u need to keep track of the opponents attack string, ur own attack string, opponents block string and your own block string in order to avoid reptition...
if your question is regarding the tekken engine particularly, then the answer to that is quite simple..
1. 3d movement makes the game more complicated and harder than a 2d game (kof and sf)..
2. amazing and uncomparable OST's and stages..
3. every character has its own unique moveset unlike in sf ( 4 to 5 characters have hadoken shoryuken tatsu)
4. there are no bad matchups so the game is fair
5. Execution is quite challenging if your trying to master the mishimas wavedash or simple korean backdash...
i m sure there are other ppl here who can answer this question better than i did...i mite have also missed a few things and you may not agree to them as gaming is a quite subjective topic for discussion....if you havent played tekken on a competitive basis, then do give it a try

So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
