External case for HDD
Also, is the following external case ok as I plan to replace the internal hdd with SSD and use the internal HDD in the external hdd enclosure

@sinnersaint just buy any SSD as it is an old laptop it dosnt matter even the cheapest are capable of good speeds. Point is the size you want 128, 256 or 500gb. If only required for windows and documents even 128gb in enough but if for multimedia then go for bit higher capacity. For brand go for WD or Adata both are known brands for storage devices.

As far as case goes the price is right and it works well just insert your existing HDD into the case and it will be ready as an external drive.
