Suggest Graphics Tablet

Salam guys, I have been intrigued by Digital Arts for a long time now and I will be taking classes for it. During the summer break, however, I would like to learn some stuff on my own. Please suggest me a graphics tablet that is reliable enough and not so expensive. Under $150 would be good enough.

i have no idea about those two brands you should go for wacom tablets
In this range you can get

Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch - CTH-470
in 14.5k ammar had used bamboo

btw in which field you are aiming towards ? fine arts ?

Thanks for the suggestion and Digital Arts as in Photoshop, After Effects and Dreamweaver ( even though word is that Adobe will introduce a new software to take Dreamweaver's place. So they might teach us that, then) Along with sketching and sculpting.^_^

well all these are different field you mentioned you should be focused to something you really feel you are interested in
Digital art is vast field , Aftereffects is other Field which is vast as well , Dreamweaver the web devlopment field is also pretty vast
so you should stick to single thing and work hard on it

My interest in arts started with After Effects, when I used the program, I quickly felt the need to learn Photoshop and learnt that both of these go hand-in-hand. Besides, the school has bundled all of it in the 4 year semester, so...

Then you should stick with it Dreamweaver is different thing alltogether

most tablets from the wacom range are generally great, Babrus Khan uses a Wacom Bamboo which is pretty badass as I hear the new ones come with 1024 levels of pressure.

My preffered weapon of choice is the Wacom Intuos 4 ... 2048 levels of pressure and very very precise ... i bought mine for 21k a year or two ago ...

i would suggest a Wacom Bamboo anyday, wacom products are a tad expensive but you'll know where the extra money went.

By now 3 other people have suggested me Bamboo on other forums =D. I have seen work done with 1024 pressure levels, 2048 would be very accurate.
