So Capcom didn't fix shit but PTCL did?

I played more than 10 matches today and 8 of them were ranked matches. Also received the achievement of consecutive wins. Each match had a 3 ping at min, even to Japan and 4 to France. There was some lag though and it wasn't a smooth experience, but atleast the matchmaking worked first time since launch.

My rank also jumped from 380k to 280k and I received around 400 league points.

Could be PTCL, could be that the server maintenance worked better for PTCL's routing than Connect's? I honestly don't know but either way, at least it shows that it's possible for us to play with people from different countries.

What time do you normally get matches...?
I'm on PTCL and waited for like 30 minutes but didn't find any matches... Although lobbies have definitely improved for me...

Beelo is a nobody. Always has been.

And if I'm lucky, I'll get a ranked match after 15 minutes....but it's completely random. Any help?

Matchmaking is still working great, Alhamdulilah. Got ranked to Bronze and now have around 700 League Points. I suck as a player though so I doubt I can hit Gold rank.

2 hours drive from Hyderabad

Matchmaking takes a few minutes at most. I played ranked matches from Japan, Korea and other EU countries. Atleast that was their profile flag on SFV.

Which is weird because the matchmaking ideally should be going for the ones with less ping. For me, it should prioritize people from the UAE/Middle east and South East Asia more than the Europeans yet in the rare occasion that I get a match, it's usually with Europeans.

From the latest capcom blog entry:

We will also be making a number of improvements to Street Fighter V’s matchmaking. Many users should have an easier time creating and connecting to Battle Lounges and we are also loosening the restrictions on finding an opponent. We know users in Europe and other parts of the world have experienced some issues finding opponents and this should help increase the amount of battles coming their way.

This'll happen when the April update hits. Most likely in a week or so.

How many ranked matches required for silver? What are league points? I never understand their purpose.

P.S I really hate when we win a ranked match and it gives failed to retrieve server data error . Although the same thing applies when we lose.

league points r the points u get for winning in ranked matches,the no of points u get depends on which tier league player u have won against the higher the league more points u get .
500 to 1999 is bronze leage,2000 to 3999 is silver league and so on

does choosing flag make any difference with Connectivity ?

i tried to join it remain stuck at Waiting for opponent or something and didnt find anyone to connect it stayed there like that
