Please share your traceroutes so we may share this info with StormFiber. They usually help out in these situations.

Contact StormFiber to get in touch with PTCL to sort this out. The latency is being added on the return (from 185.25.183.1 to client).

I did contact them, they are saying its the issue at the destination hop and they cannot help me. Even I have PIE node, mine is even worst. Please check the tracert.

I don't have a return traceroute from server to client (valve can provide it :p) because the problem IMO is arising because PTCL and or Valve are not getting the full set of routes because of which it tries to come back via an alternative route (not shown in the trace but will be when a traceroute is done from Valve to your IP, pretty sure the return trace is going to Singapore and then PK).

Anyways, PTCL's fault or Valve's fault. In both the cases, only PTCL can get it sorted out because PTCL can get in touch with Valve (they already do if you're wondering) and see where the problem is arising from.

Okay. And how about TW? Im using Stormfiber and when I ask them for TW node, the ping is 90ms. Do you think there's a congestion in TW as well from the destination hop?

Can't speak for TW as I've never had direct interaction with them.

Alright bro, thanks a lot for your concern. I have contacted StormFiber so they can switch me back to TW as for now I am gettiing 150ms on PIE node.
Atleast 89ms is playable for now.

Pakistan just connected with the largest submarine cable AAE-1 yesterday with larger bandwidth. Could that be why my ping on dubai stormfiber went from 110ms to 36ms?

Why are you guys obsessed with valves Dubai server since last I played dots you coundnt find rank matches on it let's put our collabrative efforts in fixing battlefield 1s Dubai servers which are broken for pakistanis for almost 2 months now 😂

For a month. I have been in contact with server provider because it's the same for Rocket League and Fifa. We aren't the only country affected by it. I know that it's the same for Oman, Qatar, Etisalat in UAE etc

This is the last reply I got from them before Eid holidays


Our apologies for the delayed answer. I just want to let you know that this issue (specifically with Transworld) is still on our radar. We're working on getting solutions in place, but this has proven to be quite time consuming. This ticket will be updated once more information becomes available.

Now, interestingly I never mentioned TW because I'm on fiberlink and my ticket was made on that. So they know for sure and it's not only a Pakistani problem right now.

It went 18ms for me on Stormfiber but since today morning, its fucked up again. Getting 168ms.
Tracert shows its going through SGP for no reason. GGWP
