Steam Download Speed Problem

I have a internet with speeds between 1.2mbps-1.5mbps but whenever i try to download games on steam the maximum speed I get is 150kbps. I have spent a good amount of money on my PC but I feel like as if my money went into dirt as I cant get any games. I have tried changing servers but that didn't worked.I would be really thankful if someone would provide me a solution to this problem.

That's the maximum speed you will get on 1mbps. I rarely get above 200 kbps on my 2 Mbps connection. Try downloading your games after mid night.

1m 110~160kbps
2m 180~230kbps
4m 400~509kbps
Vice versa
(The above readings may vary based on your connection reception etc I have even touched 180@1m,280@2m and 545@4m but its very rare depending on modem and wiring (i-e someplaces have door to door fiber optics,don't know if pk still have those)

Steam almost pulls full speed when theres no other network usage [TESTED],although try changing your region to PK from Steam preferences
