Starfield, developed by Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creator of Skyrim and Fallout video games, will release in the first half of 2023 according to a tweet by the developer.
The official trailer of the game shows the vast open world space that you can explore as the protagonist in the game. The game is built using Creation Engine 2, an updated version of the Creation Engine that was used to create Skyrim Elders Scroll V and Fallout 4.
The games start at the mysterious moon Kreet of the planet Anselon in solar year 2330.
The 15-minute official gameplay trailer showcases the breathtaking vast world of Starfield. The trailer highlights character creation, skills & crafting, outposts, spaceships, and ship customization in the game.
According to the official website, “In this next generation role-playing game set amongst the stars, create any character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom as you embark on an epic journey to answer humanity’s greatest mystery.”
The game will launch exclusively on X Box Series X/S and Windows.
