Is there even a working crack for this game? I downloaded a copy of the game, and also some cracks and DLLs, but I can't get the game to work. The main problem I'm facing is that I have the English version of the game while the patches available are only German or Russian, and all the cracks are for the patched version (v1.0.62)

Any help?

Yeah, as I said they're all cracks for the Russian or German version.

But its alright, I read this earlier and thought it was little more then BS, but when i tried it the game actually worked! What did I do?

I started the game from the start menu rather then the from the exe directly... :hm:

Yes, you need to start it from the launcher. I got a perfectly working english version of the game. This game completely fell off my radar for some reason :S

Anyway I started it today. This is by far the best installment in the series, even though it starts off a bit slow. This game deserves more praise.

Did you try the Oblivion mod for the original Shadow of Chernobyl game?

Yeah i finished the game.no crashes or anything. .was good Way better than clear sky. ..Dont remember which version i downloaded though...I just remember the english text was really broken and very roughly translated..because it was a new release then.. Hopefully the one you have has decent translation.

I have the official English version. Hope it proves to be stable (will find out after exams). The one you have must be the Russian or German version with the translation done by crackers.
