Namco Bandai has confirmed that the once exclusive fighters found in the PS2 and Xbox versions of the original title will be selectable in the upcoming release of Soul Calibur II HD Online.
Both Spawn and Heihachi will be present in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. The title will come digitally sometime this year in the fall on PSN and XBL. The game was announced last month at San Diego Comic-Con, where it was confirmed that the game will have online play.
It looks like the Gamecube-exclusive character Link from The Legend of Zelda will not make it over to the HD version. That makes sense since the game isn't releasing on Wii U.
In an interview with Examiner, Namco Bandai reveals that the framerate for the game will be stable and its online play will include features like a rank match option, free match, and leaderboards
